11 May 2010 – Vacancy - Sales Consultant

We currently have a vacancy for a Sales Consultant at our Monmouth Showroom.

The successful applicant will be responsible for helping to maintain our high levels of customer service and contributing to the achievement of sales targets. Applicants will have previous retail sales experience, preferably in a Hi-Fi and Audio Visual environment, and will have in-depth knowledge about the products and markets. You will be enthusiastic and self motivated and have a positive and innovative attitude.

Involved in most areas of the business, day-to-day tasks are likely to include:
• Keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by phone, and making appointments with and meeting new customers
• Agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments within provided guidelines
• Meeting sales targets and giving feedback on sales trends
• Promoting new products, special deals, and providing support to company sales events
• Recording orders, and advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service
• Delivering customer product demonstrations
• Specifying installation project requirements, including site surveys, scope definition and planning, and working on installation projects at customer premise
• Customer visits and home demonstrations
• Assist with developing marketing and advertising strategies, and canvassing for new business
• Providing mentoring, guidance and training to junior staff
• General office duties, stock management, raising stock orders where appropriate, and dispatching internet and telephone sales orders
• Providing product support, upgrades, and repair services as appropriate

Salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
