The Ultimatum Range

The Ultimatum Range is built upon a distinct set of principles which are held by the designers to be ‘ideal’ in the quest for absolute technical, mechanical and musical integrity.
Neat Ultimatum Loudspeakers are available in the following standard finishes: Natural Ash, Rose Ash, Black Ash, Walnut, Oak, and Figured Birch. The following premium high gloss finishes are also available: Velvet Cloud, Red Velvet Cloud, and Piano Black.

Ultimatum MFS – The ULTIMATUM MFS loudspeaker is a compact stand mounting design which adheres to all the principles that have marked out the Ultimatum project as such an outstanding achievement. The ultra-rigid birch-plywood enclosure, unique baffle-decoupling technology, 'isobaric' bass loading and use of twin EMIT ribbon-type super-tweeters are employed here to deliver the ULTIMATUM promise of a lifetime of musical enjoyment - in smaller domestic environments.

Ultimatum MF5 – The ULTIMATUM MF5 loudspeaker adheres to the very same principles that mark out the whole ULTIMATUM project as such an outstanding achievement. Ultimatum MF9 – The ULTIMATUM MF9 loudspeaker has been designed purely for making music. It has evolved by virtue of Neat's approach; allowing music to determine the technology, rather than the other way around. This loudspeaker is the culmination of twenty years of expertise from the Neat Acoustics design team, working here without financial or creative inhibition.

Ultimatum MFC – The ULTIMATUM MFC loudspeaker has been designed to complement Ultimatum main speakers in the context of multi-channel & home theatre systems.
The Momentum Range
The Momentum range sits between the award-winning Motive and Ultimatum ranges, marrying the price v performance values of the former with the ultimate performance values of the latter.
Standard finishes are oak, maple, cherry and rosenut, though other finishes are available to special order.
The following models are available in the Momentum Range:
Momentum 3i – The Momentum 3i is a compact 2-way iso-baric bookshelf/stand mount design. This is a real heavyweight contender with giant-killing credentials. Here, the benefits of iso-baric bass loading combine with the significant virtues of a compact enclosure - to magnificent effect. The Momentum loudspeakers are capable of delivering a compelling musical experience where it really matters – in the listening room.

Momentum 4i – The Momentum 4i is a full range 2.5-way iso-baric floorstanding design which uses four drive units in each enclosure. Iso-baric loading is a familiar feature on Neat loudspeakers, this being their favoured system for delivering exemplary bass performance.

The Motive Range
The Motive Series is a range of compact loudspeakers that bring Neat’s legendary musical performance to a wider audience.
All Motive models are easy to drive, easy to site and even easier to enjoy! The stylish and beautifully-finished cabinets will complement any listening room and all models are available in a range of real wood veneers.

The following models are available in the Momentum Range:
Motive 1 – Although this is the taller of the two floorstanders in the range, the Motive One is nevertheless a compact and elegant model. It will blend discreetly into your living room whilst its performance gives little away to larger and more expensive models. In spite of the compact dimensions, the Motive One manages to accurately reproduce genuinely low bass notes with spacious and well-focussed stereo imagery.

Motive 2 – At only 76cm high, the Motive Two is an exceptionally compact floorstander for those who want all the musical performance of a Neat floorstander without taking over the living room. In common with its bigger brother, the Motive Two surprises with its astonishing bass and beautifully open mid range.

Motive 3 – In common with Neat’s earlier stand mount models, the new Motive Three once again raises the standard of sound quality expected from a speaker of this size and price. Ideal for use in smaller spaces or as a rear speaker in a multi-channel system, this speaker has an open and strikingly clear sound with faithful dynamics and a focussed stereo image.
